My Story
Born in California and raised in New Jersey and Illinois, I attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Middle Childhood/Early Adolescent Education with minors in mathematics and language arts.
Early Work Life
I found my home in southeastern Wisconsin, where I am now a 15-year veteran teacher. My experience includes six years as a first-grade classroom teacher, seven years teaching eighth-grade math, and two years as an elementary math interventionist.
What's Next?
Feeling a pull to something else, I enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater to pursue my Masters in Instructional Design and Learning Technology where I am earning my certificates in Foundations of Learning Design, Emerging Technology in Digital Learning, and Leadership in Instructional Design and Learning Technology.
